'YANSEC' is a non-profit making organisation whose motto and aim is 'benefiting the environment'.

We receive contributions from landfill operators to finance projects which improve the environment of parts of North Somerset and Bristol.

Viridor Waste Management, the landfill operator at Yanley, Long Ashton contributes a substantial amount of this money to YANSEC.  We therefore have funds to finance groups in the community who wish to improve the local environment.
